MSN exclusive live session: Seal

Recorded the day before his split from Heidi Klum was made public, MSN Music presents Seal performing four tracks from his latest album…

MSN Music is proud to present an exclusive four-track performance by none other than the mighty Seal.

Filmed at our favourite venue for such things, the Gibson Guitar Studio in central London, the great man belted out stellar live versions of four soul classics; Let's Stay Together, I'll Be Around, Love TKO and Secret.

Not that we had any way of knowing on the day but the timing of our Seal session was doubly fortuitous.

Not only was Barack Obama singing a snippet of Let's Stay Together at almost exactly the same time as our recording of Seal's version, the following day we learned the sad news of his split from wife Heidi Klum.

Knowing that he was singing such romantic songs while waiting for the news of his failed marriage to break lends the performances an extra poignancy.

Seal has the most beautiful voice, I could listen to him all day long and such a stage presence.  I shall definately be buying this one.  Smile

I absolutely adore Seal's music.  I was 21yrs back in 1990 when he had his first massive hit.  When I think of those fantastic days I feel like crying due to how good music was then.

download album last week love it he's got soul in his voice volume up high cool all old classics but worth listening to someone like seal change the tempo

Pretty good. Seal, I told Wossy, you really need a tight brass section behind you, to give your songs some body and soul to compliment your voice, give them a real groove. Diggit! Note

What an amazing voice!!! I think he sang lets stay together very well.  Yes AL Green is amazing but so is this version. Beautiful and soulful.

What on earth did such a beautiful woman see in him in the first place. Surely Heidi could have found someone with a personality that would have loved and stayed with her forever. Got to show the beautiful ladies to be more careful picking a mate for life.
