Unconfirmed reports from the US suggest that Pussycat Dolls have split up for good.
The group was originally said to be on sabbatical, with Melody Thornton telling MTV in September: "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It's actually a much-needed break. It's like when you're with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower."
However, it now seems the break is permanent. The primary cause is thought to be a deterioration of relations between Nicole Scherzinger and her fellow bandmates, who are thought to be jealous of her greater prominence both within and outside the group.
A source close to the girls told the New York Post, "It is war. They have broken up for good. None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight then went off to do her own thing."
