Guns N' Roses $1.5 million video for the 1992 power-ballad November Rain featured lots of aerial shots and a controversial scene where lead-singer Axl Rose walks past a gun-shop. Yet, in a sign of the times, it still saw extensive play on MTV and even garnered a Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the Music Video Awards that year.
