Simon Cowell reportedly faces a bidding battle to sign X Factor star Ella Henderson.
The music mogul is keen to add the 16-year-old to his Syco label, but rivals RCA, Columbia and Epic also want to sign her, according to the Sun.
Ella's dad Sean is said to be negotiating the deal, with Simon apparently telling his US contacts that Ella could be "the next Leona Lewis".
All four record labels are part of the Sony Music group.
Simon, who is busy filming the US version of X Factor, tweeted after Ella's shock exit on Sunday: "Ella! Gone??? Unbelievable."
Ousted Ella revealed the comment gave her a "massive boost".
