Zayn and Perrie headed in One Direction

They're like a modern day Romeo and Juliet: we all want them to be together, but alas it seems as if the world is working against them. However, it looks like the sparks are still flying between One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.

Perrie revealed on Twitter that she had been to the cinema with young Zayn, saying: "Just went to see avengers assemble and it was #boring. Good night though! xD @zaynmalik."

To which Zayn replied: "@PerrieLittleMix yeah tonight was fun lets do it again sometime ;) x x."

Ooooh!

The pair first met when Perrie and the girls took part in X Factor last year, and One Direction performed on the show.

Perrie was then said to have dumped her boyfriend for Zayn, but later ended the relationship with the One Direction singer to focus on her career, saying that Little Mix were going to be "living like nuns" because they didn't have time for boyfriends.

Just five months down the line, it seems the pair are set to rekindle the romance after Zayn's return from One Direction's whirlwind promotional tour of the US, Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile love seems to be in the air for the One Direction boys with Digital Spy reporting that Harry Styles has reunited with childhood sweetheart Felicity Skinner whilst at home on a two-week break.
