To those who no little about adiction. A drugs are a mind altering substance, what starts as a bit of fun, or something to pick you up, can quickly escalate in full adiction. Nobody decides oh i want to be an addict. Circumstances, envioronment, trauma, can all contribute. A little empathy please, A great singer a great mother, celebrate what she gave us all and look hard at the message she left us, alcohol and substances, will take anybody. Do not judge unless you want to be judged. We all could of done things diff, God bless you Whitney for what you gave us all. x

bobbie brown was a disgrace today, to turn up with people who were not invited then leave as there was not room for six of them is awful , he should have been there for his daughter, should have been getting her thru the worst day ever, once again he let his ex wife down

Doesn't matter if Whitney was famous or not, and it doesn't matter what she did in her life does it? At the end of the day she was someone's daughter, mother, cousin, and friend.... I find it a disgrace how people can be so disrepectful to the dead. It is a shame how her life came to be, but she was a human being that make mistakes.... everyone makes mistakes.

It is a shame that people are putting nasty comments on here about Whitney, No one can argue that she was a great singer, who yes had a drug problem. BUT do people understand that in the life of a star there is alot of pressure and she among many had mental health problems depression etc, which along with drug addiction is very hard to control. I am totally against drugs but would not say anything nasty about a person who has an addiction, we are not here to judge any one, It is a big loss on my heart goes out to her daughter and family. RIP Whitney .

I am sure we all have an artist who achieves something so great in their career that we remember that date in time just like they do. Its those moments that you know are stamped in your memory and when you think back to those days its amazing what you can remember, its like a photographic memory album.. I have plenty from Whitney Houston in the 80s and 90s. So from everyone and myself thank you for everything you have given us, I am sure it has made a forever lasting impression, goodnight Whitney....RIP........

I wonder if these people who are judging her and putting nasty comments on here about her who be saying this sort of things if it was a relative or friend of theirs. We are not here to judge anyone. As for Bobby Brown, I have no comment on this excuse of a man. He showed his true colours, and again tried to spoil her final day. And upset her family and friends. No one deserves to suffer the way she did, yes it was her choice to continue taking drugs but they took over and other problems she had pressure of being a star etc, No one deserves to go this way. I work in mental health and see a lot of people who have not only mental health illness but drug and alcohol problems too, which is a lot for one to cope with one of these illnesses let alone all of them.

What's wrong with people like john (the hate filled as I've dubbed him), you need to learn that at times "if you don't got nothing nice to say,dont say nothing" john. One of the most moving 31/2 plus hours of t viewing whatever whitney did if you listened to what was said during the service you learnt a lot about her maybe all our lives are chosen for us we shouldnt comment on her faults we all have faults none of us are perfect it was her time to go she is safe now so let her RIP she will be missed a great singer lost but still not forgotten
