@Connor Murray - well.....it may shame you to hear this but 1 Direction have each earned £15,000,000, have had a string of number 1's in multiple countries, a movie, a world tour and vast press coverage since easily becoming the most successful boyband in this millenium so far. I believe you that they are at best a band of generic singes that sell on looks alone but you cant argue with their overwhealming success. BTW where is Cher Lloyd? X factor had here fraudulently flogged off as a superstar but I've not seen her anywhere - looks to me like your comment is being aimed at the wrong people.
