MSN exclusive Marcus Foster video featuring Kristen Stewart

Check out the video for Marcus Foster's new single, I Was Broken, which features a cameo appearance by Twilight actress Kristen Stewart…

London-born singer-songwriter Marcus Foster is set to release his debut album, Nameless Path, on September 26.

The 24 year-old first came to many people's attention when his song Let Me Sign, sung by his old schoolfriend Robert Pattinson, appeared on the Twilight soundtrack.

Presumably this is how Pattinson's co-star Kristen Stewart, who makes a cameo appearance in the video for latest single I Was Broken, became both a friend and a fan.

Check out the video in the player below.

okay, so for people who think Robert is singing this song. He isn't. He hasn't. Also, for people who think he and Marcus Foster sound alike.. get a hearing aid. They don't. They both are fantastic singers, but they do not sound the same. I can't stand that Kristin Stewart only has one look for everything she does, and next time she bites her lip, someone should smack her. As for the rest of the video, the black and white was stunning, but they were on Marcus' face entirely too much. More scenery or more story would have been better. But this song is beautiful and I'm sure his album will be just as wonderful!

The video and the song together, oh my god it looks gorgeus! I really love Robs voice (can´t wait to have an album) but Marcus Foster is singing a lot more straighter and it sounds better because Rob is singing this song too emotionally and Marus is singing cooler, painfuller.

With Kristen Stewarts pure Look in the video, it reminds me the iconic video from Chris Isaak with the song Wicked Game, where Helena Christensen looks so beautiful!

I perused the many comments here and I have a few things to say myself:

First of all, I am a big time Marcus Foster fan and have been following his music for a couple years now. He and Rob do have similar voices, which is perhaps why they both (in my opinion) sound wonderful singing songs penned by Marcus. For those who say Marcus didn't have enough or as much soul and passion singing this.....go to youtube and start watching recordings of Marcus. Yes, this version of the song is indeed a bit calmer and mellowed out then most all of Marcus' performances. I have seen him live, and boy does he have passion, emotion, soul in his music. He is also an excellent guitar player (among other instruments, including piano). His abilities on the guitar outshine those of Rob from anything I've seen (sorry Rob, I think you're a great musician too). Music videos are strange and don't always make perfect sense, nor do you see all the raw talent of a musician. I also think Kristen did this video as one friend to another. Her melancholy, foreboding expression fits the mood of the song. Overall, I really enjoyed this!

She must be doing something right to have as much media going on about her. She started young and she keeps going strong, only time will tell. Personally I don't think she's acting award material yet (seems too robot-like for me, needs to loosen up a lot more and be able to really show emotion)

About the song, I like Rob's version better (especially the bit where his voice falters and he laughs) not to mention the guitar skills. What wins KS some points in my book is her helping out her co-star's friend in this music video though.

Rob's Nonsten hateful fans are gonna hate Kristen no matter what she does or says. She's got 2 more Twilight movies coming out. She's starring in another major studio film right now with Snow White and the Huntsman. She's one of the lead female roles in the heavily awaited film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, which comes out next year. She was just on the September fashion issue of W Magazine. She's got a 2nd magazine cover coming out in December with Elle UK and possibly a third with Cosmopolitan. What has your boy got? Oh yeah..to independent films coming out next year where he plays a manwhore (art imitating life much?) and he's got a slew of drunken binges at Soho House under his belt right now. His starmeter is dropping drastically and he's earned himself a reputation as a cheating player and a manwhore who has mediocre acting abilities at best. I won't even get into his lackluster looks because what's the point. Getting the part as Edward and his chemistry with Kristen is what has made him famous and kept him there. Without that he'll just become a once-famous "it" boy who no one cares about once he's slept his way through the majority of LA. He's becoming irrelevant already. Now..WHO'S going to being filed in the "where are the they" pile I ask you? Maybe you need to take off your Robobsessed rose-colored blinders and take a dose of reality here.

"...adds new expression..." What expression? Tight-lipped deer in headlights? Let's be honest: Everything about Kristen is mediocre at BEST. She can't act, she can't talk, she can't stop biting her lip as if it makes her 'deep' in some way. Just, ugh, I can't wait until this Twilight crap is over so we can toss this girl's "career" into the Where Are They Now? pile.

Beauuutiful video Beauuutiful song!!! Like someone said it makes you wanna cry and fly at the same time!!!
Whoever says she's doing this for recognition doesn't know her at all; and who cares if she has the same expressions or not, she's perfect for this song!
