Jessie J will release her third album in October and announces title as 'Sweet Talker'
Madonna turns 56
Incredible as it may seem, the queen of pop is 56 – but she still refuses to grow old gracefully and thank goodness for that. Madonna, who has sparked a headline or two along the way, got the party started a bit early last week when she posted a photo of her crotch to Instagram.
That’s our Madge!
While on holiday with children Rocco and Lourdes and new boyfriend Timor Steffens, who at 26 is over half her age, she decided to take a picture of her lower half with the caption: 'Getting ready for my B-day!'
We don’t blame the celebrated singer for being excited, however we probably would have expressed our joy a little differently. But what better time to look back at some of her controversial moments?

can’t take anything away from the fact she 'was' brilliant in the 80s, but a 50+ woman gallivanting around on stage with little clothing and playing with guns is a bit sad.
Think she has to retire from music with dignity but every time i see her I don’t think she will.
Oh good - I see the care-in-the-community brigade have arrived to spread their vitriol, sexual frustration and hatred for women, as they attempt and fail to cut that Madonna lass down to size! Sadly some of the comments here are truly terrifying and much more controversial than anything Madonna could ever come up with!
Regarding Madonna, if she could just record some killer tunes (like back in the day) then she wouldn't need all this waving toy guns around to sell her new records and over-priced concert tickets. Unfortunately, she doesn't appear to have released a decent song since 1991, in my mere opinion.
That said, respect is due to Madonna for being a strong and independent woman, a recording artist who had moments of brilliance and someone who made her own rules.
Madonna's had to deal with haters her whole career (regardless of age) so I doubt she cares what people think.
As far as I'm concerned, if she wants to keep dancing, working out, creating songs till she drops, why the Hell not? Human beings don't have an expiry date tattooed to their backsides, last time I looked.
As mentioned earlier, it's great that she wore the Boy Scout uniform to make a point (though some of you seem to have missed that).
Everyone seems to have an opinion about Madonna, if you take the time and listen to what she has to say you will understand why she was dressed the way she was. Madonna is a truly revolutionist who fights the corner for causes she believes in. There is so much negative Bullsh*t written about Madonna and unfortunately people believe it. Madonna wore the Scout uniform in protest against the Boy Scout of America's ban on gay members.
Please people wake up! Madonna is still on top of her game, and draws attention to causes that need high lighting.
