Kimberley Walsh: Girls Aloud once went on stage drunk
Kimberley Walsh on The Jonathan Ross Show
We’ve been used to seeing Kimberley Walsh on our telly screens showing off her fancy footwork on Strictly Come Dancing, so it’s easy to forget why she’s really famous; as a member of newly-reunited pop group Girls Aloud.
The star, 31, appeared on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show and, as well as puffing on a fake cigarette made out of cake, she chatted about all things pop music, being drunk on stage with the other girls and her best friend Cheryl Cole’s relationship, which may end up in marriage if her hints are anything to go by.
"It definitely is a real relationship, she's known him for quite a long time,” she said, in response to a question about whether Cheryl’s relationship with backing dancer Tre Holloway is real.
"A few years, he danced for her the first time years and years ago. Yeah he's a lovely guy so I'm happy that he makes her happy. I think it could definitely go the distance, yeah they're really happy."
However, when it comes to her own love life (she has been in a long-term relationship with Justin Scott for nine years) she’s not about to set her foot down the aisle just yet.
She said about marriage: “I guess I've been really busy and I think we know that we're going to be together and it's just something that we've not really got round to doing.”

Aside from her love-life, Kim revealed a rather naughty secret from the early days of her time in Girls Aloud, the hit group that was formed on Popstars: The Rivals a decade ago.
"We were quite wild in the beginning,” she explained. “We did take a gig at New Year's Eve once at G-A-Y and we dressed as Christmas fairies and by the time we got on stage it was literally like half two, quarter to three and we were gone.
“I can't even remember anything about the gig; I know it was bad because friends of my sisters’ were there!”
Kimberley is set to re-join her Girls Aloud bandmates for a 10th anniversary reunion tour this year (let’s hope they don’t show up drunk!) but she’s also keen to get her name out there as a solo singer. She has just revealed her debut solo video – One Day I’ll Fly Away – and her debut album Centre Stage is set for release on 4 February.
You can watch Kimberley perform her debut single live at the National Television Awards on Wednesday 23 January.
The Jonathan Ross Show airs on ITV1 on Saturday night.
